It is...

...what it is.
For just today.
Not tomorrow.
But today.

So....My Mac crashed.
My bro-in-law will have to install some new memory.
Maybe next week I can get it over to him.
For now, Savy and I dropped in to the library to return books and enjoy some of the quiet.

Let me just share, yesterday, I used it as my day of rest.
I made a hot breakfast for Savy.
Washed our sheets.
And put on comfy cozy clothes and did not leave the house.
I had the Trinity Broadcast Channel on that played faith based movies all day long.
I watch probably 4 of them.
Well known stars were the lineup of stars.
I also had hot warm cider to sip on.
Savannah played and I said, It's a day to relax so have fun.

We had a yummy dinner too.
Roasted Chicken Sausages with Onions (Which I cooked in my new cast iron skillet, I have a new appreciation for that cookware. Hint on keeping it seasoned; No using of soap, just hot water.
Reseason each time you use it).
Steammed Broccoli
Baked Potatoes (I'm telling you, 400 degree oven for 90 mins, simply yum!)

We got up and went to church today.
Such a great service.
The message was again on family unity.
Seems like a ongoing message lately, especially with my own siblings and how the disconnect is big most of the time.
Super sad.

Well, I'm gonna sign off for now.
Savannah has allocated time on the kids computers here at the library.

God bless you and your week.

Viola

It seems to me you and Savannah make a good family just the two of you. My daughter and I did that and she is 36 and myself 62. Right now we are going through a slump with me going through a move to be next door to her, she has a crappy job, and most of the relatives we have helped through the years have passed on. But hey, once moved I intend to set up the sewing machine and get at it. Making quilts for children with bright sunny colors. I don't know how to quilt but I will. Maybe pillow cases too. I must not let the feeling that life is passing me by get me down. I just planted Lavender in a pot to put out in the Spring. You and Savannah do well together. How much fun to have a daughter. Like you my down time is watching healthy movies and reading. Best to you as you take the next step.

In spite of your computer issues, you had a day of rest. Something we all need now and then.
